TO EXCHANGE PLEASE FOLLOW THESE EASY STEPS
To initiate a return for store credit or an exchange, please email us here. Be sure to include your preferred option and the items you’d like to exchange.
- We accept exchanges for change of mind, size, or style, offering either store credit or an exchange for a different style/size.
Refunds are only available if an item arrives faulty or damaged and cannot be replaced.
- All items in our SALE section are final sale, they will not be accepted for a return or exchange.
- You have 14 days from delivery to request a return. Items must be unworn, unwashed, unsoiled, with tags and hygiene liners (if applicable) intact and no odors. Returns not meeting these conditions will be rejected and sent back at your expense.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Once approved via email, you’ll receive an RA number.
- Please allow up to 3 business days for store credit after your return is received. SALT AND RIPPLE is not responsible for lost or damaged return items.
- If you purchase your item during a storewide discount or sales promotion period and would like to return your item unless stated that the sale is final via email, on the website or socials, we will provide you with a store credit of the amount paid at the time of purchase. If an item is purchased during a sale promotion period and is returned for a credit, any replacement items will need to be re-purchased at the value they are listed for on our site at the time of re-purchase.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn/unused, with tags, and in its original packaging within 14 days.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted and will be returned to customer at customers cost.

Please note: Salt and Ripple is not responsible for return shipping costs. If your return is lost or damaged in transit, we cannot be held liable. We recommend contacting Australia Post or your chosen courier for any shipping concerns.

We are happy to issue you with a store credit that will have an expiry of 3 years.

EXCHANGES & RETURNS INFOMATION
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have with approved RA NUMBER, once the return is accepted by our team and invoice for return shipping is issued.
Please note, we do not offer refunds, with the exception of manufacturing fault.
We offer Store credits or exchanges.
In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), we do not offer refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect choice of size, including failure to use the size guide before purchasing
- Items listed as "imperfectly perfect" with known faults disclosed prior to purchase
- Incorrect delivery address provided at checkout
We will, however, honor refunds or replacements in cases where a product is deemed faulty or not as described, as per ACCC guidelines. If you believe your item falls under this category, please contact our team for assistance.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), businesses are not required to provide refunds for change of mind, including order cancellations. However, we offer store credit for cancelled orders as a goodwill gesture. If you wish to proceed with a cancellation, please contact our team as soon as possible.
Customers are responsible for the postage costs of exchange items. As a small business, we are unable to cover these expenses to keep our operations running sustainably.
If return shipping payment (once return is recieved and proccessed) is not completed within 14 days of the shipping invoice being issued, a $10 restocking fee per item will apply. This fee covers processing costs for already processed exchange items. We will then issue a store credit to your account less the fees incurred.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like any item on sale or any worn/everyday wear items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns/exchanges on sale items or gift cards.
By completing your purchase, you agree to our terms and conditions.
- If we are unable to replace a faulty item or issue store credit, we may offer a refund, minus a $15 restocking fee. Please note that all shipping fees are non-refundable.
- If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided at checkout or return-to-sender (RTS) from non-collection, we can arrange reshipment at the customer’s expense. We are not obligated to provide a refund for RTS or incorrectly addressed orders, as per Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
In the rare outcome of an item not being in stock (website has oversold an item) we can offer a different style, store credit or in some cases refund less fees occurred during transaction.
Third party fees such as Afterpay, Latitude Pay and Klarna occur a fee along with a 2% fee via Shopify.
